The 8th Continent

News Bulletin:

Scientists have just discovered that there are not just 7 continents on Earth but 8!!!

They need your help! This new continent needs a name and they need you to draw a map of what the continent looks like.

So far, they have evidence that the following land and water forms exist on this continent.

Mountain Ocean

Mountain Valley Lake

Mountain Range River

Island River Valley

Desert River Source

Plateau River Mouth

Hill Delta

Peninsula Bay or Gulf

Plains

Directions:

1. Draw a map of the 8th continent

2. Name your continent.

3. Draw the land/water forms (above) anywhere on the map.

You must name them. For example: the Lonely Island or Dry Desert.

4. Include a compass rose with all intermediate directions

5. Label somewhere on the map
